If you have any questions, feel free to get in touch and ask. Payment for your order can be made online by credit/debit card, or by cheque or postal-order (UK only) through the post. For online payments we use PayPal, which is a safe and secure online payment service. When you click the 'Send Your Order' button at the bottom of this page you will be taken to our Payment page which details various payment methods. Your order will be processed when your payment is received. Full payment must be received before any order will be dispatched.

  • Hips, 4" to 5" down from waistline

  • Seat, 9" to 10" down from waistline

  • Length for skirt.

  • Nape to waist (if applicable).

  • Sleeve Length (if ordering Bolero jacket)

  • Upper arm width (if ordering Bolero jacket)

  • Your usual dress size (the size you might normally buy from a high street shop).

EACH alteration has a charge of 5.00. Therefore, a skirt length alteration on its own costs 5.00. Bust, waist, seat, bodice length and skirt length alterations would cost 25.00, for each outfit you are ordering.

We always have a waiting period on orders for our gowns, which is never less than 1 month, at times going up to 4 months, depending on  demand and the time of year! Spring/Summer is our busiest time. Please contact us to ask how long the current waiting list is before you place your order. You may telephone us or use the  form on our contact us page to do so.


When placing your order please state a 'Required By' date. We will do our best to ensure that your order reaches you by or on that date. However, please bear in mind the length of our ever-present WAITING LIST (see on left) when stating the 'Required By' date for your order. If you need a gown making quickly, please telephone us to check if we can do it in the timescale you have.


The Frock Factory has an established anti-spam policy. Personal details entered via this form will not be disclosed to any third party and you should receive no unsolicited email from third parties as a result of entering your details.
